Dr. Rebecca Angus

Dr. Rebecca Angus grew up in a family of dentists.  Her father and his brother, Drs. Frank and William Angus, opened Angus Dentistry in 1974 in Midlothian and served the Richmond community for over 40 years.  Her brother and his wife are also dentists.  Dr. Rebecca has owned Angus Dentistry since 2012 and carries on the family legacy.

Dr. Rebecca Angus graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. She is a Fellow of the International College of Oral Implantologists and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

She is well known for her ability to diagnose and treat complex dental conditions and works with her patients’ healthcare team to achieve improved overall health.  She is passionate about educating her patients on the context of their oral health within the picture of their total health.

She has extensive training and interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Complex Reconstruction, Oral Implantology, Craniofacial Pain/TMJ Disorders, and Sleep Disordered Breathing.

She is an ultra-endurance athlete and a competitive age group triathlete whose favorite race is the Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon in San Francisco.  You can find her running the trails of the James River Park System on any given day and she is a passionate supporter of the James River Outdoor Coalition.  She is a sponsor of many local races and training teams and the Richmond Triathlon ClubThe Cameron K. Gallagher (CKG) Foundation, Richmond Road Runners Club and Milk River Arts (MRA) hold a special place in her heart:  CKG raises awareness of teen anxiety and depression, and MRA serves a neurodiverse community of artists.  She and her husband, Rob Miller, enjoy traveling the globe in search of adventure.

It is her goal to serve the people of Richmond and the surrounding areas with integrity and compassion, and to be a role model for young people to achieve great things in all areas of their lives.  She enjoys mentoring the steady stream of undergraduates who flow through her office on their healthcare journeys.
