Dr. Jessica Vellucci grew up right here in Midlothian. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Nutrition & Exercise Science at Virginia Tech before returning to Richmond to attend dental school at VCU.
There she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) and also completed a one-year residency that earned her a certificate from the Advanced Education for General Dentistry (AEGD) program.
Dr. Jessica Vellucci first fell in love with dentistry because of the way it combines science and healthcare with aesthetics and creativity. After her years of working in private practice, she has found that her favorite part of her job is the relationships she is able to build with patients at Angus Dentistry. Dr. Vellucci enjoys taking the time to understand each patient’s individual goals and treatment desires to help ensure that their experience is exactly what they are looking for.
Dr. Vellucci also loves to help patients to have a better understanding of their oral health, their treatment needs and all available treatment options, as well as ways they can improve their overall wellness and focus on future dental disease prevention.
When she’s not working, Dr. Vellucci is spending time with her husband, Matt, a physical therapist, and their two young daughters, Savannah and Brooke. They love raising their family in this area with all that it has to offer and they enjoy trying new restaurants and local craft breweries. As a family they love spending time outdoors, and are often traveling to the river and beach. Dr. Vellucci and her husband both grew up playing sports and enjoy spending time cheering on their favorite teams.
